OBAMA -- Global Warming Cause of Terrorism

Obama and global warming/climate change most critical problem for USA and the world.

It is incomprehensible that Barack Obama and his spokespeople can declare global warming, aka climate change, the “cause of terrorism.” It's equally incomprehensible that Obama proclaims global warming/climate change, not terrorism, the greatest threat to America. This delusional behavior violates the first requirement of the constitution to provide security for the American people.

It's ludicrous that he focus attention on climate change in Paris just after the terrorists murderous attacks on innocents. Having said that, let's remember that Obama considered it unnecessary to attend a solidarity demonstration with heads of 40 countries in Paris after the bombing of publisher, Charlie Hebdo. This arrogance, or ignorance, is even more unacceptable since the USA is the major target in the world for radical Islamic terrorists. But, his shills and apologists will remind us that he sent Sec. Of State, John Kerry to Paris with James Taylor to sing Talyor's signature song, “You've Got a f Friend,” to the French. Maybe he can send Taylor again.

Now comes a new attack on innocents in Paris with several killed and more wounded. Obama's focus as he attends a G-20 summit is, again, global warming.

Now, his comment that his focus on global warming would be the greatest rebuke of terrorists possible is beyond ridiculous. Can anyone explain any rationale for this? Delusional is a kind word.

I contend that this delusional behavior is reflective of the fact that “The best of Americans do not present for elective office now and American voters willfully elect the worst who do.”(JAM 20120). We are our own problem when we elect an unqualified president, not once but twice. Impossible to comprehend!!

SYRIAN REFUGEES -- HIGH RISK

RISK OF GIVING REFUGE TO TERRORISTS IS TOO HIGH TO IGNORE

SYRIAN REFUGEES: A few weeks ago the question of the Daily Press Newspaper (Tribune) to the Saturday morning DP Buzz contributors was, “SHOULD WE BRING REFUGEES INTO THE USA OR NOT? My answer was, and remains, “Emotions cry out (scream) to give them refuge, but analytical, objective and logical thinking says that, since America is the major target of radical Islamic terrorists, our government cannot justify admitting them and still uphold the major constitutional obligation to provide security for Americans. Rather, we should assist in placing them in places not subject to terrorism. It should be the Middle East nations, but at this time it is probably too late. There is now too much evidence of masses of young men without women and children seeking refuge to ignore terrorism aspects of this mass movement of people.

And by the way, it is totally unacceptable for “President” Obama to politically chide opponents of giving refuge as not wanting to protect women and orphans. His commentary is more reprehensible with event or action.

ENDORSEMENT OF MARY JONES -- REELECT HER SUPERVISOR, BERKELEY DISTRICT, JAMES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA

ENDORSEMENTY OF MARY JONES – SUPERVISOR FOR BERKELEY DISTRICT
In the November election, every citizen should consider recent JCC Board of Supervisors' actions before voting. A most important consideration is the recent tax increase, allegedly needed for a triple A bond rating and to replenish the reserve fund necessitated by irresponsible deficit spending to purchase land and development rights for $25 million over a few years. Justification? Land purchase approved by citizens earlier.
But, citizens were deceived. They were not told that land purchases would increase their taxes and were told that a triple-A bond rating would greatly reduce cost of debt service. Citizens were further misled, after approval of the increase, with claims of $6 million saved over ten years with a triple-A rating. Reality? Savings will be slim at $0.01%-0.05% of debt.
Proponents of the tax increase “sold” the deal, requiring an average of only $20/mo/home, as a quality of life issue. For whom? Not for a family living paycheck to paycheck. What do they sacrifice – school lunch for the children, less food on the table, no new clothes or shoes? What? Who “fought for them” as is the political rallying cry.
Only Mary Jones, Berkeley District Supervisor, “fought for them.” In spite of undeserved criticism and personal attacks Ms. Jones stood firm with grace, dignity and resolve against the tax increase. Berkeley voters, please reelect Ms. Jones for the good of all James City County residents. Her opponent, Ruth Larsen, defined herself by supporting Jim Kennedy, and other tax increase proponents, at his kickoff.

ENDORSEMENT OF SUE SADLER AND HEATHER CORDASCO FOR SUPERVISORS IN STONEHOUSE AND ROBERTS DISTRICTS, JAMES CITY COUNTY VIRGINIA

We in James City County, Virginia need to vote for honesty, intellectual integrity, a supervisor who will consult with experts and will work for needs of the citizenry rather than for personal biases. Sue Sadler will be such a supervisor for Stonehouse and Heather Cordasco will be same for Roberts Districts. It is vital to have a Board of Supervisors who will work according to a prioritized strategic agenda of critical needs of citizens, not prejudices and biases of the incumbents. Priority focus must be on a reliable source of water for JCC. The incumbent board members that these two will replace have ignored this issue far too long. Please read the endorsement below.

VOTE FOR SUE SADLER AND HEATHER CORDASCO
I urge residents in Stonehouse District to elect Sue Sadler as supervisor not just for their benefit but to benefit all in James City County. Please be reminded that supervisors were voted out of office in 2013 largely because of exposure of their incivility toward citizens as well as improper governing actions, perhaps the foremost being rewriting law in session to deny a congregation to build a church by right in Grove (recently corrected). Sue Sadler is one resident subjected to incivility as she correctly presented her observations and opinions to the BOS, most meaningfully one opposing excessive spending that everyone should know by now led to financial deficits and a recent tax increase. Ms. Sadler also objected to the BOS governing by personal biases rather than by strategic plan based on prioritized needs of the county. She was always concerned about the county's water supply and the ultimate high-cost reliance on Newport News for water. She did research and due diligence and presented accurate information astutely and respectfully. She deserved respect in return. She didn't get it from some BOS members.

In James Kennedy's highly promoted kick-off, he publicized his alignment with the removed
supervisors. The cabal, that spent recklessly for land control and more and paid Newport News $25 million with equal amounts to be spent before we get a drop of water, continues.

Please elect Heather Cordasco in Roberts district to remove the last member of the cabal, John McGlennon.

ENDORSEMENT OF LARA OVERY VA HOUSE OF DELEGATES 93rd DISTRICT

The Virginia Gazette

We endorse Lara Overy unequivocally for the House of Delegates District 93 seat. The Daily Press editorial board said, "It would be difficult to walk away from a meeting with Ms. Overy without being impressed." No, it's impossible! For those who now Lara well, it is compelling to be impressed, with her presence, her capability to work with others, her work ethic, her focus on the most meaningful issues and more. She is a self-made woman who, as a single mother, worked her way through Thomas Nelson Community College and then to graduate from William and Mary where she is pursuing an MBA. Today the daughter she was raising is a lovely and talented 17-year old young lady who, along with 12-year old Madison and husband, Rick, are an exemplary American family.
Lara's personality and attitude assure that she can work with all members of the House. Unlike Mr. Mason, she will not have to make excuses about colleagues stealing her work. To read Mr. Mason's whining is rather akin to "the dog ate my homework" excuse. Her passion to Improve education, promote economic opportunities and to get a fair share of transportation funds are necessary initiatives. We have long needed a change in the transportation funding formula but legislators have not had the courage to wage the battle to get our share. To achieve that goal is enough reason to vote Lara as our 93rd District Delegate. She'll do much more.
