BREEDING MEDIOCRITY IN AMERICA
In the past I have written and spoken of “Breeding Mediocrity in America" with focus on declining education standards, primarily at the college level, and also our political system. Given the less-than-top people we've been electing for decades now, politicians at large long ago met the low“standards” for mediocrity. Many, if not most, have exceeded mediocrity and now deserve the recognition of inferiority and ineptitude. Leaders and statesmen/women are all but absent from elective offices.
“Colleges and universities are no longer sanctuaries for learning and research rather are now havens for political activism – left-wing.” Students are indoctrinated in the ways of leftist politics. Some, even many, exit college with no useful knowledge and degrees for which there are no jobs.
Now high schools!! School boards in North Carolina have agreed to do away with the top class title of valedictorian. Excuse? It discourages students from cooperating. How wrongheaded can people be, people in whom we put our trust to teach our children that achievement, superior learning, knowledge, etc. are all positive? And necessary. The effort to bring everyone to a common level defies all tenets of achieving superiority. True in all of life.
Pardon me for personalizing, but I was valedictorian of my high school class – a few decades ago but remember it well. I have no memories of being isolated from other students or of their isolating themselves from me. In fact, it was just the opposite! Most of us serious students worked closely together. Another fact is, our home was often the meeting place for many students to gather and do homework and other learning exercises.
I have no memories of working deliberately toward being valedictorian, rather my parents expected the best my sister and I could do – and be. She was salutatorian and legitimately could have been named valedictorian. Then, we had excellent teachers who pushed us to do out best. Our high school principal, a totally dedicated man, worked with us. He, Mr. Dominic Gaudino, followed me all the way through college, graduate school and even 4 years on the faculty of chemistry at Georgia Institute of Technology. When I left GA Tech, Mr. Gaudino was, once again, in contact. Wanted me to take a position as Chairman of Chemistry and a WV college where he had moved on from high school days. No, I'm not boasting, but reminiscing somewhat sadly. Just telling the truth about outstanding teachers and how they took care of us in those days! The way they did their jobs. Do we have people like them now? Would they dare, or want, to do what Mr. Gaudino did? A memory is coming to the fore. He, Mr. Gaudino, even had me teaching math occasionally in my senior year. I supposed he'd be fired in today's dysfunctional political atmosphere of “breeding mediocrity.”
I would beg North Carolina school boards to back up, reassess what they are doing. Mediocrity today, inferiority tomorrow. Onward to perdition! This is just not acceptable!
HILLARY CLINTON KNOWS NO INDICTMENT COMING
Hillary Clinton's actions and her commentary regarding the FBI investigations suggest she is complacent with little concern for the outcome. It's not only her deflecting characterization of the investigation as a security review, which FBI Director James Comey has countered that it is a criminal investigation, it's her visible lack of concern and her matter-of-fact attitude when questioned by reporters and others. So, why is she so calm and complacent with no sign of worry or anxiety?
Could she already be assured by the Obama administration, the DOJ specifically, that there will be no indictment irrespective of FBI's findings and recommendations? I believe it is the likely scenario.
Alternatively as reported here earlier, it is highly likely that the administration's and the media's praise for Director Comey's “straight-up” honorable character is setting the public up for a finding of “nothing actionable” in Clinton's activities. Also, it must be considered plausible that the FBI is prepared to exonerate her without forcing the DOJ to do so.
Now, how about the Democrat National Committee and Democrats who control it? It's a stretch too far to believe that they have any expectation of an indictment of Clinton. It's likely they know that President Obama and the DOJ will “take care” of the situation. It's the Clinton way, never held accountable.

- The best among us no longer present themselves for elective office and American voters willfully vote for the worst who do." (JAM)
HILLARY CLINTON IS UNQUALIFIED BY CORRUPTION AS WELL AS POOR PERFORMANCEOH HOW FAR WE HAVE STRAYED FROM THE FOUNDERS' VISION THAT THE BEST, MOST ACCOMPLISHED PEOPLE WOULD BE ELECTED TO LEAD OUR AMERICA!AND, HOW WE HAVE STRAYED SO FAR FROM HONOR AS DISPLAYED BY PRESIDENT HARRY TRUMAN. HE DECLARED THAT HE'D NEVER USE HIS OFFICE FOR PERSONAL MONETARY GAIN. AND, HE LIVED BY THAT DECLARATION.A CEO once told me, "we don't bribe government officials, we buy access." No kidding!. Next we will focus here on what the Clinton's have used their offices for and for whom. Singularly they set a new standard for corruption, together they represent heretofore unforeseen dishonor. They have, indisputably, led the abrogation of morals and ethics that have created societal decadence that could not have been anticipated a few decades ago. There is just nothing that Hillary Clinton can say that's worth any payment, much less $225,000. Such corruption and deception is profound and heretofore unseen.Oh, and what about the people who will ignore lack of qualifications and corruption and elect her president? What can be said about their character?www.newpatriotsblog.com/news/the-full-list-of-92-paychecks-hillary...... FULL List of 92 Paychecks Hillary Collected From Wall Street. HOW BAD DOES IT GET?
HILLARY CLINTON WILL PUT BILL CLINTON IN CHARGE OF REVIVING THE ECONOMY
“BECAUSE HE KNOWS HOW TO DO IT."
Bill Clinton is arguably as overrated in terms of accomplishments for Americans as is Hillary Clinton. However, both have done well for themselves amassing millions of dollars of wealth. The economy of the 90s, for which he takes credit, and is given credit by many, had little to do with his policies. The best that can be said about his contributions is that he didn't interfere as did Jimmy Carter. He was kept in line largely by Republicans in Congress, led by Newt Gingrich.
When Clinton did interfere by “bastardizing the CRA in 1994 to push sub-prime mortgages for “a house for everyone” and then signed into law repeal of Glass-Stegall in 1999, he set up the 2008 financial meltdown for which few, if any, credit to him. He was aided by banker, Robert Rubin then Treasury Secretary.

MEDIA BIAS AT IT'S WORST – Washington Post Investigates Trump But Ignores Obvious Malpractice By Hillary Clinton (past and present)
So, The Washington Post assigns 20 reporters to dig up information (dirt) about Donald Trump. I anxiously await reports on Trump's negatives but I won't expect to see anything positive, although considerable information is available on Trump's philanthropic activities and other positive attributes. One must compare WAPO's efforts to define Trump for what they think he might be with their efforts to avoid defining Hillary Clinton for what she clearly is and what she represents.
Controversy, evidence of corruption, dishonesty, obfuscation and more have shrouded Clinton like a dense fog for her entire presence in both public and private life. It is entirely legitimate to declare that Hillary Clinton epitomizes the cultural revolution's (sub-cultural in fact) abrogation of absolutes of morals and ethics with reliance on whatever can be deemed legal. The current controversy over how she performed her requirements as Secretary of State, the server-email case, the Benghazi disaster, and more should have more focused reporting from media. Her the disastrous performance in the Egypt and Libya debacles aren't even reported. While she spoke and acted ignorantly about the spread of democracy by the so-called "Arab-spring" and supported the nonsensical decision of overthrowing Mubarak in Egypt, media have no interest in reporting her ineptitude on these issues.
In this blog, I wrote of the disastrous effects to be expected from actions in Libya, Syria and especially Egypt. If I could anticipate the end results, why should the Secretary Of State, and the president as well, not be expected to understand? Perhaps their plan was to effect the disaster. I even wrote that the Muslim Brotherhood would, in all probability, win control of Egypt, and only the military could stop it. That's exactly what happened. Were Clinton, Clapper and Obama ignorant? Or?
Hillary Clinton's poor performance, her ineptitude, is profound and obvious. But she gets a pass from media and a majority of the American people. Would the people act differently if the media exercised their obligations better? It's doubtful we will know the answer.
I've often spoken, and written, that we will never get to the bottom of the Clinton corruption until an honest investigative reporter gets on the case as Woodward and Bernstein did with Watergate. Is honest investigative reporting now an oxymoron? The WAPO may have a chance to prove it is not, but will they?
I am not writing this as a fan of Trump. I am writing as one who laments the loss of intellectual integrity, the increase in bias of the media and, in general, the societal decadence that now defines us. The media are complicit in all of these American Conditions.
So WAPO, if you are going to “dig into Trump's life,” do the same for Clinton. You are obligated to do so! Oh, while you're trying to do your job correctly, you might examine Bernie Sanders' employment and his qualifications, lack of, to be elected to the most important job in the world.

Two Mann tenets, the essence of which hurt Senator Cruz:
1. "If a person, a candidate cannot present himself or herself correctly and believably I believe he or she cannot represent me and others correctly. Words and their usage, as well as the way they are presented, are extremely important to a presenter."(Mann)
2. "There is no equation of intellect with wisdom and judgement. Without the latter two, intellect may be of limited value" (Mann).
Senator Cruz arguably epitomizes each of these and often displayed them in his presentations. His philosophy was/is acceptable but his presentations were grating to viewers and listeners, too strident and abrasive. It cost him, in large part, the nomination.
Hillary Clinton and the cultural revolution now 6 decades old
Every time I hear a report regarding Hillary Clinton's personal e-mail server I am compelled to think that Clinton exemplifies one of the major negative societal effects that the cultural revolution, now six decades old, wrought upon the The American Condition. Absolutes of ethics and morals and what is right and what is wrong have been abrogated in favor of what is legal, or worse, what can be deemed legal with no consequences. Repeatedly, we hear that “there is no evidence of malpractice” when all indications are that Clinton committed malpractices in having her own private server. Who can doubt that it was used for government business. But, some hard evidence of what was surely improper, perhaps even illegal, is necessary to label her actions as malpractice. Criminality requires evidence, malpractice requires honest judgment. But, that was true in traditional America and must not be so in the “new America” of the sub-cultural movement. Now Clinton wants to be president, and is on the inside track to be so. The American Condition is critical, perhaps she is irreparably broken.
