DACA CONTROLS BUDGET PROCESS -- STUPID GOVERNMENT

I find it absolutely incredible that the serious, even critical, immigration reform issue takes on DACA as a major focus. There are 700K, 800K, 1.8 million, how many??. But, Congress holds up critical budgeting by making DACA a controlling issue, with Nancy Pelosi in the House and Chuck Schumer "leading" the idiocy. DACA even controls budget process now.

 We don't know how many DACA members there are, or for that matter, how many total aliens are in the country. In 2007, when I developed a sensible Immigration reform proposal, "Immigration and Terrorism -- Beyond Walls," and gave to Pres. Bush, most accepted data noted 11 million total aliens, but some suggested up to 20 million. Today, the number here is still reported as 11 million!! Anyone believe that? The most reliable number was 6 million here on expired visas, many of those gotten in Mexico where Arabs pay huge sums to money to Mexican groups to "Mexicanize" them, teach them Spanish and get them visas to come into the USA unmolested. I have written about this some time ago and will do so again. I know it from firsthand information.

 It's totally unacceptable that Congress has dealt with this issue as they have. Same for the president. This problem cannot be resolved if it isn't dealt with honestly, intelligently and analytically. This is a prime example of the need for analytical problem-solving and -decision making methodology and I haven't seen even the slightest indication of any understanding of this need or that the method exists.

Democrats fight for voter blocs and Republicans permit them to succeed by being as stupid and Dems are abjectly dishonest. This problem must be segmented and segments dealt with by means appropriate for the particular person or group, all of them violators of law!! Stupid is no longer acceptable. Trump's wall is not the solution either although I recommended walls in very selected areas. Walling in the whole border is not acceptable and is not a solution. Damn, we elect some dishonest and incompetent people and have been doing so for a long time!! More on this subject in a later post.

ETHANOL -- The worst mandate ever gets even worse

When politicians get control of science and the inept or dishonest scientists, nothing good comes of it. There are many examples -- global warming (aka climate change) is the most prominent. The ethanol mandate, although a part of the climate change mania, stands on its own as arguably the most ridiculous mandate of all time. President Jimmy Carter, who was influenced by a misguided college professor, can be charged with the mistake of promulgating the ethanol mandate.  Of course, Al Gore is the politician who played the global warming issue like a drum and has benefited financially from it. Use of ethanol in motor fuel is not a net positive either in costs or in impact on the environment.... enormous hype to the contrary notwithstanding.
